Position: Social Media Manager

Classification: Contractual / Part-Time

Location: Fully Remote (work from anywhere but you must have access to a quiet workspace for video calls)

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred

About the Position

You will be the in-house social media maven for Louder clients focused on delivering social content monthly for a wide range of clients and industries. 

You are fascinated with the evolution of social media and how consumers engage with brands. Following the changing trends and finding creative ways to stay relevant are common practices for you. 

You’re a social strategist able to build a social game plan based on a brand target and story for a client. 

You’re a solid creative director, able to develop concepts and calendars based on a social media strategy and content plan for a client that inspires the creative team in their production work. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Planning and developing social media calendars for clients. This includes 30 - 60 day plans directed by you for content, creative development, sharing with the client, and preparing approved content for posting schedule.
  • Crafting compelling content or getting it developed. Delegating creative work to other production team members when necessary.
  • Moving approved content into posting applications (i.e. Buffer, Hootsuite, Plann). Setting up social media attached to the scheduler and fixing when broken.
  • Being on top of the latest social media trends.
  • Analyzing customer expectations according to past social media activity.
  • Defining KPIs and report on them for client social media activity.
  • Updating social media content across all channels.
  • Engaging with the client on their social media strategy and areas of improvement.
  • Working in tandem with client success manager(s) to ensure communication is clear and expectations are met on social media for client.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as a social media manager or a similar role (be specific, and include the number of years of experience)
  • Experience in creating social media strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to craft engaging content
  • Organized and able to multitask
