The role
This role combines design and production with a strong focus on UX/UI and content design. You'll work primarily with nonprofits serving vulnerable populations, collaborating across the team to deliver websites that are polished, easy to use, and easy for clients to maintain.
You need a quiet workspace for video calls, a sharp design eye, and the patience to make a WordPress page builder behave.
What you'll do
01Design and production
- Design intuitive wireframes, mockups, and page layouts in WordPress
- Build and configure pages using page builders (Beaver Builder, Elementor)
- Set up forms, plugins, integrations, and SEO elements
02Client collaboration
- Lead client pulse calls to gather content and share progress
- Train clients on maintaining their website after launch
03Content and quality
- Coordinate content inventories and make sure content flows logically
- Run quality assurance reviews before every launch
What you'll need
- Professional WordPress experience
- Knowledge of page builders (Beaver Builder or Elementor preferred)
- Understanding of web content layout best practices
- A strong design eye and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Figma, or similar tools
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
