Nonprofit website design and development

Stop apologizing for your nonprofit website.

Get a website that makes your mission clear in seconds, makes giving easy, and makes you want to send the link to everyone you know.

  • Designed around your mission.

Your colors, your photos, your story. Not a theme with your logo dropped in.

  • Update it yourself, anytime.

Or send it to us. We won't tell anyone.

  • Designed to inspire and convert.

Strong storytelling and clear calls to action move every visitor to take the next step.

Messaging people understand in seconds.

A beautiful website can't fix a confusing message. We make sure people understand who you help and why it matters, because that's what moves them to act.

Easy to update, by anyone on your team.

An outdated website tells people you're not paying attention. With a simple visual editor, anyone on staff can add the new event, swap a photo, or fix a date the same day it changes.

“After over a decade of working with various marketing agencies, we’ve never found anyone else that compares with Louder in this regard. We had such a great experience with Louder on our first project that we came up with another project to work with them again!”

The Nonprofit Website Blueprint

Good websites start with a good plan.

Many of our projects begin with a strategy phase we call the Blueprint. We dig into your goals, your audience, and your current site, then give you a clear plan for what to build and why. You'll see the scope, timeline, and investment before the build starts, and the plan is yours to keep either way.

What you'll get

  • Audience personas that show who's visiting, how they think, and what they're looking for
  • An honest review of your current site and what's holding it back
  • Key opportunities to grow your impact online
  • An intentional sitemap built around what matters most
  • Creative ideas to turn visitors into donors, volunteers, and advocates
  • SEO recommendations to help more people find you
  • A clear scope, timeline, and investment for the build

FAQ

Questions nonprofits ask about website design.

What does nonprofit website design include?

Strategy, messaging, sitemap, design, build, integrations, testing, launch, and training, with the site structured around the actions you want visitors to take: giving, volunteering, signing up, or reaching out for help. Many projects start with a Blueprint, a detailed strategy plan, so the plan comes before the design.

How much does a nonprofit website cost?

LaunchPad sites start at $6,500 and are scoped for small and midsize nonprofits. Bespoke projects are scoped in the Blueprint based on the features, integrations, and content involved. There are no hidden hosting or licensing fees; ongoing support is available through Web Care.

How long does a nonprofit website take?

LaunchPad sites typically launch in four to six weeks. Bespoke projects are scoped individually, and the Blueprint gives you a timeline before the build starts.

Will we lose our Google rankings in a redesign?

It shouldn't. We preserve URLs where possible, set up redirects for everything that changes, and build on a technical foundation designed for search and AI visibility.

What platform do you build on?

Most of our sites are built on WordPress, with a flexible page builder and a custom library of sections designed in your brand. You own the site and can edit it without code.

Can our team update the site ourselves?

Yes. We train your team, and the section library means new pages still look like they came from us. If you'd rather hand it off, Web Care covers updates and edits.

Do you write the copy?

We write the messaging strategy on every project. LaunchPad includes page copy written for you. On Bespoke projects, the Blueprint scopes how much copy we write versus what your team provides.

Do you work with churches and schools?

Yes. Louder builds for churches, ministries, faith-based nonprofits, and Christian schools. See our church websites page and school websites page.

What happens after launch?

Training for your team, then Web Care if you want ongoing support: security, updates, backups, and edits handled by our team. We still maintain over 200 of the sites we've built.

Do you also run marketing?

Yes. Our Nonprofit Growth Plans run Google Ad Grant, SEO and AI visibility, email, and social, with traffic pointed at pages built to convert. Many clients start with a website and add a Growth Plan later. See the nonprofit marketing page.
